Brush marks

Brush marks are caused due to under-thinning of paints, poor application of the final coat of paint or poor quality brush used in the application.

Prevention[]

  • Apply paint at the correct recommended viscosity using correct thinner
  • Apply paint quickly and evenly
  • Use clean good quality brushes

Cure[]

After the coat has dried, rub down the surface to smooth and uniform level followed by a careful recoating.
